Functional capacity assessments

Our team is experienced in navigating complex seating, positioning and wheelchair recommendations. We work closely with every client to ensure that the most appropriate assistive technology recommended aligns with specific needs and goals, ultimately improving quality of life.

Assistive technology 

Assistive technology is designed to make daily activities easier and safer, empowering you or your loved one to live more independently. 
Our Occupational Therapists provide personalised recommendations on a wide range of aids, from specialised communication tools to mobility devices and daily living supports. Driving assessments 

Maintaining independence through driving is a significant aspect of life for many individuals living with physical or neurological conditions. Our adult Occupational Therapists understand this process can feel daunting and provide guidance and support throughout this journey to remove feelings of intimidation or uncertainty.
We have an Occupational Therapist suitably qualified to conduct comprehensive driving assessments that evaluate you or your loved one’s ability to drive safely. In cases where specialised equipment or vehicle modifications are required, we provide detailed recommendations to ensure continued safety and comfort on the road.

Minor and complex home modifications

Creating a living environment that is safe, accessible, and suited to an you or your loved one’s needs is crucial for promoting independence and well-being. 
Our adult Occupational Therapists specialise in both minor and complex home modifications, offering expert evaluations, advice and solutions that cater to the unique needs of each individual. Our team works with you to develop a personalised modification plan to enhance accessibility, comfort and independence at homes.

Pressure mapping service  

Pressure injury prevention and management is a critical aspect of care for individuals with limited mobility. Our specialised pressure mapping service utilises state-of-the-art Xsensor technology to capture high-resolution images of body surface pressures and distribution.
This detailed data helps our team to develop tailored interventions to prevent pressure injuries. By working closely with you, we can recommend the most appropriate support surfaces, cushions, and positioning strategies to improve comfort and prevent pressure injuries
